  • Angora is from the angora rabbit - plucked or sheared 4 times a year.  No harm comes to the rabbits.

  • Qualities are:

    • Very warm. Up to 8 times warmer than wool.

    • Fine, soft; used principally in the production of quality knitwear.   

  • Polyamide is a man-made fiber used primarily in articles worn next to the skin, but also in embroidery. 

  • Qualities are:

    • Light weight

    • High Elasticity

    • Very wear and tear resistant

    • Crease resistant

    • Low moisture absorbency, transfers moisture rapidly to the material's surface where it can evaporate

    • Shrink proof

    • Moth proof, alkali, rot and salt water resistant
