The H.S. Dundas Sock Knitting Machine

W. I. Betts & Co., of Clearfield, PA, took the Canadian Agency in 1891 & set
up as the Gearhart Co. of Canada -- much like Franz & Pope began with Creelman's in
nearby Georgetown-- under a Gearhart Canadian patent.

By 1896 it was known as the  Dundas KM Co. and continued under a local owner
into the early 20th century.
